B. Performance & Diagnostic Telemetry
We use privacy-preserving error reporting tools (such as Sentry) to catch software bugs and crashes before they disrupt your tax workflow.
- Client Masking Active: Diagnostic recordings explicitly mask all user input fields, document contents, and client names before transmission.
- No User Emails: Diagnostics identify sessions solely via anonymous application UUIDs, never by taxpayer or preparer email.
3. Local Storage & Session Storage
In addition to cookies, Pernee may use HTML5 browser local storage and session storage to preserve user interface preferences (such as collapsed sidebar state, active tax year filter, and dark/light mode preference) so you do not have to reconfigure your view on every page load.
